Program: 4-Point Recovery

SMART Recovery’s 4-Point Program is the organization’s flagship secular program serving those with an addictive behavior, including both substance and activity/process addictions. Trained volunteer facilitators lead effective mutual support group discussions on these topics:

  1. Building and maintaining motivation
  2. Coping with urges and cravings
  3. Managing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
  4. Living a balanced life
Related tools consistent with evidence-based motivational and cognitive behavioral theories are also offered and discussed.

Specific audiences: Youth/Young Adults (16-25)

SMART Recovery meetings for youth and young adults (ages 16–25) Registration with the hosting organization is required. Age verification is required prior to attending, and cameras must be on for all online meetings.

This meeting is being hosted by Alternatives for Youth (AY).

AY is a youth substance use and addiction support in Hamilton, Ontario. This meeting is for youth aged 16-25 living in Ontario.

This meeting runs every Tuesday from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM, Hybrid format: Virtually via Microsoft Team's or in person in central Hamilton, Ontario.

The virtual meeting will require you to have your camera on for verification purposes.
